OQP-Tesa 20mg
GHRH analog studied for growth-hormone axis stimulation and visceral adiposity research.
The 20 mg format provides a larger supply of OQP-Tesa, the trans-3-hexenoyl-modified GHRH(1-44) analog, for laboratories running longer studies of the somatotropic axis. Having a larger single stock reduces vial-to-vial variation between experimental runs.
OQP-Tesa binds the GHRH receptor, a class B G protein-coupled receptor that signals mainly through cAMP and protein kinase A in pituitary cells. Because it reproduces the complete native sequence rather than the truncated 1-29 fragment used in many other analogs, researchers use it to study full-length GHRH receptor pharmacology and compare it with shorter, more heavily substituted analogs such as CJC-1295. Endpoints in the literature include growth hormone pulse patterns, IGF-1 levels and lipid metabolism in preclinical models.
This vial has a third-party certificate of analysis (batch COA #10448, 99.86% by RP-HPLC, issued by Bioviridian Inc.). For in-vitro research use only.
Research areas: Full-length GHRH analogs, Pituitary cAMP signaling, Growth hormone pulsatility, Comparative GHRH analog studies.
