OQP-Tesa 10mg
GHRH analog studied for growth-hormone axis stimulation and visceral adiposity research.
OQP-Tesa is a synthetic analog of growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH). It carries the full 44-amino-acid GHRH sequence with a trans-3-hexenoyl group attached to the N-terminal tyrosine. That single modification protects the N-terminus from dipeptidyl peptidase-4 cleavage, which rapidly inactivates the native hormone, while keeping binding to the GHRH receptor on pituitary somatotrophs.
In research settings OQP-Tesa is used to study the GHRH receptor and the downstream growth hormone and IGF-1 axis. Published investigations cover pulsatile growth hormone release, IGF-1 signaling, and the relationship between the somatotropic axis and adipose tissue distribution, particularly visceral fat depots, as well as hepatic lipid content in metabolic models.
This 10 mg vial has a third-party certificate of analysis (batch COA #10447, 99.82% by RP-HPLC, issued by Bioviridian Inc.). Lyophilized and supplied for laboratory research use only.
Research areas: GHRH receptor signaling, Growth hormone and IGF-1 axis, Adipose tissue distribution research, N-terminal peptide stabilization.
