QP2-TZ 30mg
Dual GIP/GLP-1 receptor agonist studied in metabolic and glycemic research.
QP2-TZ is a 39-amino-acid synthetic peptide that activates both the glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide (GIP) receptor and the GLP-1 receptor. Its backbone is modeled on the GIP sequence, with Aib residues at positions 2 and 13, a C-terminal amide, and a C20 fatty diacid attached to lysine 20 for albumin binding. Molecular weight is about 4813.5 Da (CAS 2023788-19-2).
QP2-TZ is studied as the reference dual incretin agonist. Research questions include how simultaneous GIP and GLP-1 receptor engagement compares with GLP-1 agonism alone, how biased signaling at each receptor affects cAMP production and receptor internalization, and how the dual profile alters lipid handling in adipose tissue models.
This 30 mg vial has a third-party certificate of analysis (batch COA #10449, 99.94% by RP-HPLC, issued by Bioviridian Inc.). Lyophilized and supplied for research use only.
Research areas: Dual GIP/GLP-1 receptor agonism, Biased receptor signaling, Adipose tissue lipid metabolism, Incretin pharmacology.
